Meet the ensemble of Kiss Me Kate

Tyra Cantwell

Tyra Cantrell (Ensemble).  Tyra brings a lifetime of performing to the stage.  Most of his experience is in playing and singing music.  This is his first year on stage in theatre, but he has always loved to please an audience.

Christina Barrett

Christina Barrett (Ensemble) is a junior at Brookwood High School.  She is a member of the Student Government, the Beta Club, the Color Guard, and the Gwinnett Student Leadership Team.  She has been dancing for fourteen years, and is a member of the senior company of the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre.  Christina enjoys participating in musical theater at her school and in community theater groups.

Sherri Boutin Kiss Me Kate marks Sherri's fifth production with ACT, previously appearing as Mae in Pajama Game, Dolly in Hello Dolly!, Miss Jones in How to Succeed, and the Mystery Woman/Dog Wrangler for Anything Goes.  Sherri is also active in the theatre ministry at her church -- Tucker First Methodist. She sends out a million thanks to her husband Bert and son Nicholas for their continued support of her passion for the theatre. She also thanks God for the gifts He has given each of us and for His many, many other blessings.
Pete Carnes

Pete Carnes (Ensemble).  What a wonderful cast we have for this year’s offering of “Kiss Me Kate.”  We know that you will enjoy the show.  2002 was a tough year for ACT and my family.  My prayers and heartfelt thanks go out to each of you for your support.  So sit back, relax, and enjoy a play about a play about a play.

Nancy Durden

Nancy has been in every ACT production since Pajama Game – the perennial ensemble member.  She’s married to the love of her life – for nearly 30 years now – in the person of Paul (Harry/Baptista).   She enjoys motorcycle cruising on the Goldwing and race-walking.  Over the past year, she and Paul have started participating in races - 5Ks, 10Ks, and one 15K.  “I’ve got to admit that being in one of these productions is more fun than race-walking a 15K!"

Courtney Foster

Courtney Foster (Ensemble) loves you.  She is a senior at Brookwood High School of Performing Arts.  She would like to thank Myrna for the opportunity, Andrew for the chauffeuring, her family for their understanding, Cole Porter for writing the musical, and the Coca-Cola Company for making such a darn good drink.  May Thespus bless you all!  Cheers.

Bryant Green Kiss Me Kate is Bryant's first production with Arcado.  He performed last in the Gwinnett Realty Players' 2002 production of "Looped" at the Gwinnett Civic Center.
Bryant works with Prudential Georgia Realty, lives in Buford, Georgia and is married with three sons.  His son, Chase is currently on a Drama scholarship at Gainesville
College.
Emily Hudgins This  is Emily's first production with ACT.  She studied theatre/dance at Auburn University under Diane Robinson.  She is currently a Kindergarten teacher at Mountain Park Elementary.  She wishes to thank her family and friends for their generous support.

Susan Kemeter

Susan has been a member of ACT for 12 years.  She was in the first community production of "Fiddler On The Roof."  She has been a nurse in the "South Pacific", a secretary in "How to Succeed", a factory worker
in "Pajama Game", a prairie woman in "Oklahoma", and other musical productions.  Susan has always had a love of theatre and especially enjoys community theatre because it brings together people from all different aspects of the community. Her full time acting job is a teacher at Mountain Park Elementary.
Ginny Lockhart Ginny Lockhart (Ensemble): Ginny is thrilled to be back on the stage with ACT for a third season.  She was previously seen in How to Succeed and Anything Goes.  She would like to thank her friends for their support and her family for putting up with her crazy schedule.
Katherine Mahan Katherine Mahan is enjoying her 2nd season with ACT.  She has previously appeared in shows such as Pippin, Tintypes, Anything Goes (twice!) and The Dining Room.  Her theatrical dream is to perform in West Side Story.  While not pursuing theatrical endeavors she enjoys working at RIA, painting, reading, being with friends and family, and dancing.  Thanks to all my family and friends.  You put up with a lot!!!  Love always.
Cefus McRae A member of ACT for five years, Cefus enjoys the opportunity to perform minor roles with major enthusiasm. Past stellar performances include Man #2,
Waiter, Man in the Back Row, Man #6, Nodding Fellow, and Mr. Gatch. You can often catch him performing on street corners in downtown Atlanta.  He will be the one with the empty tip cup. Once again, he is thankful he passed the audition and glad to be in the company of these great people. This year being no exception, he is ever grateful to his family and co-workers for allowing him the time to participate in this production.
Parry Moss

Parry Moss (Ensemble) was in several choirs and plays in high school, including “Carousel,” “Camelot,” and “The Lark.”  He has most recently played Godspell’s “Judas” and directed the youth play, “Com In From the Cold.”  He really enjoys theater, dance, and music and wants to thank his family and friends for all their support.

Andrew Neisler

Andrew Neisler (Ensemble) is an intriguingly active junior in the Brookwood High School performing arts department.  He is thrilled to be performing in his second ACT show.  Andrew would like to thank Myrna for her patience, Ida and Dan for being who they are, his parents, his friends, and Dairy Queen for their amazing dip cones.  Cincos to Courtney!  Long Live the Faction!  Enjoy the show!

Martha Sosebee

Martha Sosebee (Choreographer, Ensemble) is back for a sixth season with ACT.  Roles she played in 2002 include: Helen in “the Seven Year Itch” and Miss Hannigan in “Annie.”  Martha is director and choreographer for the Aurora Glory Dancers at CTL Luther Church in Lawrenceville, and she welcomes any opportunity to dance!  Martha dedicates this performance to the memory of Miss Aurora D. Sosebee.

Carol Ann Stough Carol Ann Stough, (aka Charlene, of the Sleep-tight Pajama Factory), is in her seventh year with ACT. A graduate of Auburn University, Carol Ann taught school, then began her career as a real estate broker. She is with Re/Max Suburban Atlanta.
